Macy’s is a Common Theme at Friends of Thingamajig’s Holiday Party

A lively and lovely party took place yesterday evening at the home of Joanne and Karl Irons in Pagosa Springs, CO. The occasion was the Friends of Thingamajig Theatre’s annual holiday gathering. Thingamajig is producing two holiday shows this year: The family-friendly Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and the adult-friendly Santaland Diaries.

The versatile and beloved James Scott plays a Christmas elf working in Macy’s Christmas display in the irreverent one-man-show Santaland Diaries – opening Thursday, December 15.

I do believe I audibly gasped when I first saw The Christmas Suit with Matching Tie.  “I got it at Macys.com, on sale, for $69”, McAnelly bragged.  “And it’s polyester!”  I was skeptical (not about the polyester), but his wife Claudine insisted that he did indeed buy it through Macys.com. Here’s some photos of guests enjoying themselves in the Irons’ home – exquisitely decorated in true Macy’s style.
